Shopping and Surveys

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is such an easy site to use and there are so many ways you can earn money. One of the easiest is by simply doing your searches through the free Swaybacks Toolbar. You never know how many points you might earn. You can also earn points by shopping, watch videos, entering special codes, take surveys, and sign up for subscription services. There are also special games from time to time and drawings you can enter. You can then convert your points into gift cards.

MyPoints

MyPoints is very similar to Swagbucks, but has been around for a lot longer. The best way to earn with MyPoints is shopping. It’s easy to rack up points when you’re shopping for items you already need and with companies you know and love. Another easy way to earn points is to simply read your email.

You’ll get 5 points for each email you receive and click on from MyPoints. You can also earn by taking surveys, searching the web, and more.

instaGC

InstaGC is similar to MyPoints and Swagbucks. You complete tasks, sign up for trial offers, shop, take advantage of special offers, etc. A big difference with this site is your ability to trade in your points for smaller gift cards. You can actually trade your points in for $1 gift cards which is something the other sites don’t offer.

Rakuten Ebates

If you love to shop online, you simply must go to Ebates. All you do is go to the Ebates site and sign up. After signing up, you’ll receive a $10 bonus gift card. To earn even more cashback, simply choose a site you want to shop with and complete your order. Each site offers a different percentage of cashback and each day there are even stores that offer double cashback.

Freelancing

There are a multitude of ways to earn money with services that you offer to others. It’s just a matter of connecting with the right people who can hire you.

Become a Virtual Assistant

This can turn into a full blog post or eBook but I can give you a quick summary. Bloggers and online business owners need help running their websites. This can be writing blog posts, posting on social media, sending out newsletters or all of the techy stuff behind the scenes that they need to run their business.

If you’re technically inclined and know website coding or design, you can take those skills and offer them in the online space and charge what you like to help clients with your services.

Connect with online business owners in Facebook Groups

Rather than search on your own, you may want to set up a profile on one of these platforms.

Fiverr

Is there something you like doing? Why not put your skills to use and earn a bit of money? Fiver is a great site to earn a bit of pocket change or start a new business. You offer a service for $5 and you can add extras to make even more money. For example, if you like doing voice work, you might agree to read 100 words for $5 and have an extra on the gig that will allow buyers to get an additional 500 words for twenty.

Upwork

If you have a service you offer, you can connect with other entrepreneurs that will hire you for your service. People can offer graphic design, website design, virtual assistant jobs on the platform. You want to build up a portfolio of reviews so make sure you’re offering services that you can deliver well.

Sell Something

If you have items in your home that you’re no longer using, sell them and earn money for them rather than sending them to the landfill or having them take up space in your home.

Craigslist or Kijiji

List your items locally and have someone come pick them up or meet them in a public area to sell your items. Be careful with more higher-priced items and make sure you’re being safe.

eBay

If you’d rather not meet anyone, you can sell your things online with eBay using their auction system. As a buyer I’ve found some great things on eBay and love the convenience of buying online and having things delivered to my home. As a seller, be sure to maintain a good seller rating so that buyers feel confident buying from you.

Create handmade items or printables

If you’re crafty you can sell your handmade items on Etsy. If you know how to use Canva or PowerPoint, you can create printables or digital stickers to sell online on Etsy as well. If you love to create things or want to share your creative creations than Etsy is the place to be.

Etsy

Set up a shop on Etsy with your handmade or digitally made items to earn income from home. Etsy is a online marketplace where shoppers are looking for unique items to buy.

Teachers Pay Teachers

If you are a teacher or homeschooler, you can create educational resources and worksheets and sell them on TPT. This allows you to earn an online income as you create resources for your students that you would have to create anyways. It connects you with other teachers and homeschoolers who need resources to teach their own students.

There are so many great ways to make money online. However, not all of them are legitimate. The sites listed above are not only legitimate but easy to use. Whether you love to shop or just want money for reading your email, you can earn money from home.
